Background

A 2004 graduate of The Finger Lakes School of Massage, Stephanie has extensive post graduate studies in Oncology Massage, Mastectomy and Breast Massage. She has advanced education in caring for clients with cancer, including courses at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist trained in complete decongestive therapy and manual lymph drainage by Klose Training. Stephanie has been a Hospice volunteer, is a Reiki practitioner, and is trained in palliative end of life care.

In addition to her massage therapy career, Stephanie is a writer, an artist, and a seasoned Merchant Mariner with a 100GRT Masters License. After studying at The Museum school of Fine Arts of Boston, Stephanie traveled both nationally and internationally, eventually finding her way back to the states and the Pacific Northwest. Graduating with a Bachelors Degree from The Evergreen State College, Stephanie then took to the sea and began working aboard the US Oceanographic research fleet from the Bering Sea to Galapagos to the Sea of Cortez. She was Third Mate for Lindblad Expeditions and has worked as a deckhand aboard tug boats and as Captain for smaller community based eco tourism companies on Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, NY. Currently Stephanie likes to paddle her very small canoe on smooth and local waters.
